Psychosomatic Medicine and General Practice (PMGP) is an electronic open-access medical journal. We publish original research articles, reviews and case studies that disclose relevant diagnostic and treatment issues for disorders covered by these disciplines.
Open Access Statement: We believe in open science. All published articles are immediately available on the internet without any fees or subscriptions.
Aims and Scope
Our journal covers such medical disciplines as general practice (family medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, etc), psychosomatic medicine, psychiatry, medical psychology, psychotherapy, neurology. We publish original research articles, reviews and case studies which disclose relevant diagnostic and treatment issues for disorders covered by these disciplines.
All research articles, reviews and clinical cases, which the journal receives, undergo a peer review. This process is provided by the external (regarding the journal editorial team and editorial board) reviewers, specialists in the article's research field. Reviewers after evaluation recommend to the assigned editor (from the journal staff or editorial board) whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised or rejected.
The peer-review process is double-blind. Both the reviewer and the author are anonymous to each other.
